What exactly is functional fitness, and how is it different from a regular gym?
Functional fitness is all about training your body to move better in everyday life. Instead of using machines to isolate muscles, we focus on natural movements — like lifting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and carrying — that build real-world strength, endurance, and mobility. Every workout is coach-led, varied, and designed to help you feel stronger and more capable both inside and outside the gym.
Do I need to be fit before I start?
Not at all! Every workout can be scaled to your current fitness level. Whether you’re brand new to exercise or already active, our coaches will tailor movements, weights, and intensity so you can train safely and effectively. Many of our members started as complete beginners.
What can I expect in a typical class?
Each session includes a warm-up, skill or strength focus, and a workout designed to challenge you at your level. You’ll train alongside others in a supportive, coach-led environment — no wandering around wondering what to do. We take care of the programming so you can focus on showing up and giving your best.
How much does it cost, and what’s included in the membership?
Membership options vary depending on how often you’d like to train. All memberships include coach-led classes, access to our training community, and personalized support when you need it. We also offer intro sessions and drop-in options for visitors. (Tip: It’s best to come in for a free trial or consultation so we can help you find the right plan.)
Will I get personal attention and coaching during classes?
Yes — that’s one of the biggest advantages of training here. Our coaches keep class sizes small so they can give you plenty of individual attention, help you move safely, and make sure each workout is tailored to your ability. You’ll always have guidance, not guesswork.
